Empress Elisabeth of Austria

Her Life was marked by disasters but her love-tragedy became famous all over the world.

Elisabeth was born in Munich on Chistamas eve in 1837 and was grwon up with her sisters and brothers on their manor Schloss Possenhofen close to the Starnberger See. At the age of 15 years she was travelling with her mother and her big sister Helene to Austria for beiing introduced to her future majesty Franz Joseph. Fanz Jospeh felt in love with Elisabeth and they got married the next year. Almost a year after their wedding, when Elisabeth was 17 years old, she gave birth to her first child and three others quickly folllowed.


Our porcelain collection consists of many different shapes and designs. Careful workmanship and detailed decals gives our porcelain that special Reutter look. All our gold decorated porcelain pieces are hand painted in 24k and fired in a kiln up to three times at 800°C (1470°F).

You will receive our porcelain in premium gift boxes.


Please note: Our mocca cups have a high percentage of gold decoration made of real 24k gold. To preserve the gold content, we advise you to wash the mocca cups by hand only. The high temperatures and the added detergent in the dishwasher can affect the gold.
